St. Paul, MN - The Polars Volleyball team hit the road in a conference match against the Northwestern Eagles and fell 3-0.
Crown dropped the first three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-12, and 25-12. From the beginning of each set the #4 ranked Eagles held the edge.
Alyssa Heagney led the Polars offense with 5 kills followed by 4 kills from
Sydney Cotten.
Shaelyn McNeill led the Crown setters with 11 assists. McNeill also totaled 11 digs on the day.
Maggie Claussen finished with 12 digs.
Crown's next contest will be on the road for a non-conference stint at the Tiffany Robinson Memorial Tournament with their first match being against the host North Central College Cardinals on Friday, October 13th at 7pm in Naperville, Illinois.
