Naperville, IL - The Polars Volleyball team headed on the road for a nonconference match with North Central College and fell 3-0.

The Cardinals maintained a lead for the majority of the first set with the score finishing 25-12. Crown battled with the Cardinals for the majority of the second set tying the score at 6-6 and crawled back to within one but the Polars dropped the second set 25-14. The third set would go North Central's way as Crown was defeated in three sets.

Alyssa Heagney led the offense with 6 kills on the day. Shaelyn McNeill led the Crown setters with 5 assists. Maggie Claussen totaled 13 digs and is inching closer and closer to the school record for Digs in a season just 27 digs away from tying the season that Madeline Svoboda had in 2018 with 371 digs.

The Polars will stay in Naperville for two matches tomorrow Saturday, October 14th for contests with St. Mary's at 10am and with Augustana at 12pm.
