Naperville, IL - The Polars Volleyball team faced off with Saint Mary's (MN) and Augustana (IL) at the Tiffany Robinson Memorial Tournament on Saturday and fell in both 3-0.

In the first match of the day, Saint Mary's took an early lead in the first set and never looked back as Crown fell by scores of 25-5, 25-13, and 25-8. Alyssa Heagney finished with 7 kills in the match leading the Polars offense and also led defensively with 8 digs. Shaelyn McNeill and Kamber Brown both notched 7 assists. Maggie Claussen also had 7 digs.

In the second match Augustana held the edge throughout the three sets with scores of 25-12, 25-9, and 25-17. Heagney led with 5 kills and Sydney Cotten totaled 4 kills. Lauren Dolton totaled 3 blocks for Crown. McNeill totaled 10 assists and Heagney led with 8 digs in the second contest.

Crown will return home for three matches for their final home stand of the year, first facing off with Martin Luther at 7pm on Tuesday, October 17th.
