Minneapolis, MN - Polars Women's Soccer faced off with the Augsburg Auggies on Saturday night and fell by a score of 5-0.
A fast start from the Auggies scored two goals in the first five minutes of play, putting Crown behind 2-0. The Polars managed to get only two shots in the first half before Augsburg scored the third goal of the game. Two more goals in the late minutes and limited opportunities saw the Auggies go up 5-0 and the score finished there.
The Polars were outshot 38-6 on the evening.
Ella Hollander took three shots for Crown with two of them being on target.
Rachel Fuller totaled 17 saves on the evening as well.
Crown falls to 0-2 on the year and will travel on the road to Arden Hills, Minnesota to take on the Bethel Royals on Wednesday, September 6th at 4pm.
