Morris, MN - The Polars Volleyball team faced off with the UM-Morris Cougars on Tuesday and fell in three sets.
The Cougars came out hot in the first two sets and the Polars couldn't overcome the early deficit as Morris won the first two sets 25-10 and 25-10. The third set saw the women battle back and forth but eventually dropped the set 25-22.
Alyssa Heagney totaled 8 kills to lead the offensive attack.
Jocelynn Shockley adn
Sydney Cotten both added 3 kills.
Shaelyn McNeill totaled 9 assists and
Kamber Brown finished with 7 assists. Defensively
Maggie Claussen and
Emma Holey led the way with 13 and 12 respectively.
The Polars fall to 2-10 on the season and return home on Friday, September 22nd at 7pm to take on the UW-Superior Yellowjackets.
