St. Bonifacius, MN - The Polars faced off with the UW-Superior Yellowjackets on Friday and feel in three sets.
Early on the Yellowjackets pushed out in front and would eventually win the first set 25-9. Crown jumped out to an early 8-5 lead in the second set but an offensive surge from the jackets propelled them out in front and the Polars dropped the second set. A tight battle in the third set finished 25-22 in UW-Superior's favor.Â
The Polars were led offensively by
Sydney Cotten who totaled 6 kills.
Aryanna Puetz shortly followed with 5 kills.
Maggie Claussen led defensively with 15 digs in the match.Â
Crown falls to 2-11 on the year and returns to action tomorrow, Saturday, September 23rd as they face off with Northland College at 1pm.
