St. Bonifacius, MN - Crown College Men's Basketball released their 2023-24 schedule, featuring 26 games, thirteen of those at home with the schedule culminating with the UMAC playoffs in late February.
Non-conference play will see the Polars face off with 10 opponents, including two members of the WIAC in UW-Eau Claire and UW-River Falls. Crown will also compete in another exhibition contest against St. Thomas for the second year in a row. Some of the notable matchups in conference play include:
- Two matchups with the UMAC champs from the 2022-23 season, at home on January 13th and on the road on February 2nd. The Polars split with the Vikings last season falling in a double overtime thriller and defeating the Vikings by five in mid-February.
- Two Matchups with Northwestern (MN) as the Polars look to take down their UMAC rival following two close matchups in the previous year.
- Matchups with UM-Morris and UW-Superior, both UMAC playoff teams from the previous year, both the Polars were defeated in their contest from the 2022-23 season.
The Polars notched a record 20 wins in the 2022-23 season and return the majority of their players including 4 of their starting 5, only losing one senior.
