Superior, WI - The Crown College Polars baseball team took on the Yellowjackets in game three of their season series and won 4-1.
Crown was able to score the first three runs of the game with one run coming in each of the first three innings on a total of five hits. A run from Superior in the fourth was answered by Crown in the top of the 5th inning after hits from 
Howie Hatton, 
Rhys Dewick, and 
Ashton Long. The story of the game was the stellar performance on the mound as 
Jefferson Barmoy pitched 5 innings only allowing one hit and one earned run. 
Jacob Worley followed that up with 2 innings pitched and one total hit as Crown rode the effort to a 4-1 victory.
Howie Hatton and 
Ashton Long led the way offensively as they each grabbed two hits and one RBI. Crown totaled 9 hits on the game and 
Seth Betts added 3 stolen bases.
Crown moves to 20-16 on the year and 14-7 in UMAC play with two regular season games left before the UMAC tournament. The Polars face off with Bethel University tomorrow at 1pm and 3:30pm on the road.
