Polars Take 6th in Jerome Kruse Award Standings

St. Bonifacius, MN - The UMAC announced the final standings for the Jerome Kruse award today. Crown finished 6th just one point away from fifth place.

The Jerome Kruse Memorial Award is in honor of Mr. Jerome Kruse, long-time athletic director of Northwestern College (Wis.) and later Martin Luther College. Mr. Kruse's life ended early and because of his dedication to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference and to the student-athlete the award was created in honor of him.

The annual award travels to the college with the most points accumulated by the place finishes of the college's athletic teams in the final standings of 18 conference sponsored sports. Points are awarded based on the teams finish within conference play.
