St. Bonifacius, MN - Crown College Baseball had 5 players named to the UMAC All-Conference teams as announced on Tuesday.
Howie Hatton led the way as he was named both UMAC Player of the Year and First Team All-UMAC. Hatton finished the year batting .486, totaling 67 hits, 10 doubles, 1 triple, 8 home runs, and 55 runs batted in. It was truly a spectacular year for Hatton as he finished 4th in all NCAA Divison III in batting average. Hatton finished the year with a whopping .746 slugging percentage as well.
Seth Betts was named 1st team All-UMAC for his play in the infield. Betts finishes arguably the most impactful career of any baseball player ever for the Polars as he finished this season batting .375, totaled 57 hits, 34 RBI's, 30 walks, and 38 stolen bases. Betts holds more than 20 school records after his time at Crown.
Aidan Volk-Specht was named 1st team All-UMAC after his solid season as the Polars ace. Volk-Specht finished with an ERA of 4.55, a win loss record of 7-3, as he pitched 55.1 innings and struck out 56 batters on the season.
Rhys Dewick was named Honorable Mention All-UMAC. Dewick batted .306 on the season and totaled 36 RBI's. Dewick anchored the middle of the Polars lineup all season.
Cael Magill was the fifth Polar named all conference as he was named Honorable Mention All-UMAC. Magill batted .340, totaled 55 hits and 21 stolen bases. Magill alos added 4 home runs and 24 RBI's.
