St. Paul, MN - The Crown College Baseball team faced off with the Northwestern Eagles on Friday and came out on top 12-1.
Crown scored five runs in the third inning to take the 5-0 lead. Hits from 
Seth Betts, 
Mason Brock, 
Jack Becker, and 
Cael Magill made it happen. The Polars dominated the rest of the game only allowing one run. Seven more runs would come across to score for Crown off of hits from 
Howie Hatton, 
Tristen Ciarlo, 
Matthew Shaugabay, and many others. Crown notched three home runs on the game coming from 
Seth Betts, 
Howie Hatton, and 
Matthew Shaugabay.
Jack Becker led the offense with 3 hits for the Polars. Both Becker and Shaugabay totaed 2 RBI's while 
Mason Brock totaled 3. 
Aidan Volk-Specht once again threw a gem after 5 innings of scattering six total hits and only allowing one earned run, he also struck out 5. 
Jacob Worley also pitched 2 innings of no hit baseball.
The Polars move to 8-8 on the season and will return to the University of Northwestern Eagles for a doubleheader on Saturday, April 8th.
