St. Bonifacius, MN - The Crown College Tennis teams faced off with the Minnesota Morris Cougars on Wednesday with the men winning their first match of the season 5-4 and the women dropped their contest 9-0.
In doubles action 
David Comings and 
Tim Jaeger took the victory in the number one doubles match 8-0. 
Brock Knick and 
Cole Matthys also won the number three doubles match 8-5 in a tightly competitive match. 
David Comings also took home a victory in the number one singles match 6-0 and 6-0. 
Tim Jaeger played what seemed to be the deciding match as he took the win in the third set. 
Jackson McFaden and 
Brock Knick both fell in singles action in the number three and four matches. 
Cole Matthys won the #6 singles match 6-3 and 6-1 and the Polars men their first match of the season 5-4.
Annie Doyle competed as the number one for the Crown women but was unable to win either the singles or double match falling by scores of 6-1 and 6-1 in singles action while falling by a score of 8-1 in doubles action.

Polars Tennis returns to action on April 20th taking on Martin Luther at 3pm on Thursday in New Ulm, Minnesota.
