St. Bonifacius, MN - The Polars Baseball team faced of with the Northland College Lumberjacks on Saturday and won 22-1 in five innings.
A day that saw plenty of rain and run for Crown started out with a 9 run first inning. Six walks, a double from 
Rhys Dewick and a 
Howie Hatton single gave Crown a large 9-0 lead. The next two innings the game quieted down with neither team notching a run. Northland scored one of their own in the 4th inning. The Polars scored 13 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning after 7 hits from the Crown offense and what seemed to be a marathon inning and the score ended at 22-1.

Terren Sugita all had two hit gams with 
Seth Betts sending a home run out of Missile Park. 
Jefferson Barmoy pitched all 5 innings for Crown only allowing one hit and one earned run in the contest. Barmoy alos struck out seven batter and got the win.
Crown moves to 11-10 on the season and 5-2 in UMAC play. The Polars return home to face off with Martin Luther College on Tuesday at 11am.
