Fayette, IA - The Polars Women's basketball team headed on the road Sunday to take on Upper Iowa University in an exhibition game and fell 88-28.

The Peacocks started out the game with an 11-0 run before Crown found their first bucket when Hazel Serapio knocked down a triple. Raelin Smalley and Sonia Urbina both hit a three as Crown fell behind 19-9 at the end on one quarter. Upper Iowa's offense came alive in the next two quarters and it propelled them to a 88-28 win.

Hazel Serapio scored 8 points leading the Crown offense. Raelin Smalley scored 6 points. Isabelle Sager led Crown with 7 rebounds.

The Polars return home tomorrow December 18th for a 3pm non-conference game against Luther College.
