Northfield, MN - The Polars Women's Basketball team headed on the road Wednesday night for a game against St. Olaf and fell 64-45.
The first quarter saw Crown jump out to an early 8-4 lead but after 4 lead changes St. Olaf held the one point advantage. Back to back three's from
Morgan Aylsworth and
Sonia Urbina inched the Polars back out in front in the second quarter but a 14-0 run by the Ole's to end the first half left the score at 33-21. Crown tried to chip into the Ole's lead and would eventually cut the lead to 11 with 2:52 to play in the contest but St. Olaf came out on top 64-45.
Sonia Urbina led the scoring for Crown as she totaled 14 points.
McKenzie Latzke followed close behind with 9 points of her own.
Isabelle Sager led the rebounding with 8 rebounds.
The Polars fall to 0-3 to start the 2023 campaign and will look to get the first win of the season with their next game returning home for a 5pm start time on Friday, November 17th against Buena Vista.
