Minneapolis, Minn. – The Crown women's basketball team dropped a 90-60 decision to North Central on Friday night, despite three players scoring in double figures. The Storm also knocked down ten three pointers in the contest, but couldn't keep pace with the high-octane Rams.
Dominique Urbina had 16, including four triples, to go along with nine assists and six boards in a strong, balanced performance.
Madison Morken also scored 16, going 7-7 from the field and 2-4 at the free throw line, and
McKenzie Latzke had 15 on five made threes.
Crown shot 35.7% from beyond the arc on the night, but only 36.9% overall and were hampered by 19 turnovers. North Central also had a 14-2 advantage in made free throws in the contest.
Crown will head back on the road on Saturday as they take on Northwestern at 3 p.m.
