Ellendale, N.D. – The Crown Polars faced off on the road against Trinity Bible College on Saturday in the second game of their back-to-back road trip.  The Polars were hounded by the Lions all night and trailed late in the second half but used a career high 26 points from Seth Royston to escape with the 81-78 victory.

Royston connected on six three pointers but it was a late dunk to give Crown the lead that stuck at as the play of the night. 

Cade Carroll continued his hot start to the season scoring 32 and grabbing eleven rebounds for his second double-double in three games. 

The Polars were sloppy in this one, turning the ball over 22 times, but also had 18 assisted baskets as they did just enough to hold off their NCCAA north region opponents. 

The win takes the team to 2-1 on the season as they prepare for another three game week with contests against Gustavus, Finlandia, and NCAA D1 opponent North Dakota State University.
