St, Bonifacius, Minn. - Crown (2-6, 2-2) fell by a score of 48-6 to Greenville (5-3, 3-1) on Saturday afternoon at Old National Bank Stadium.
The Polars lone touchdown came in the 3rd quarter, senior Malek Folston scooping up a fumble and taking it 65Â yards for a score. The Polars were led offensively by freshman Keller Jackson who finished 14 of 29 through the air and 115 yards passing. He also totaled 17 carries.
Josh Wallace led the ground game with 9 rushes for 52 yards. He also added 4 receptions for 30 yards to total 82 all purpose yards.
Defensively Rudy Criner added 12 tackles 8 of them solo. Criner also had an interception in the contest for his second of the season. Malek Folston also added a solid defensive effort with 9 tackles and a fumble return for a touchdown.
The Polars fall to 2-6 on the season and 2-2 in conference play. They will face off with the University of Northwestern Eagles at home for Senior Day for their final home contest of the season Saturday, November 5th at 1pm.
