MINNEAPOLIS --- Crown College Volleyball completed their spring regular season on Saturday afternoon, falling to the North Central Rams 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-22). The Storm will move on to the conference postseason tournament, facing the Rams for the second time in three days on Monday.
Leading Crown's offensive attack was Gracie Zieroth and Madison Timm, who had nine and eight kills, respectively. Timm additionally led the team with two aces. The Storm had a great day blocking, with Aryanna Puetz and Emily Holliday both getting credit for two blocks; Kaitlin Fischer, Chloe Burr, and Madison Timm all had one block each. The Storm had double the amount of blocks as North Central. Fischer also did a great job passing the ball, with 16 assists. Burr led the back row on defense with 15 digs.
The Storm look to avenge this close game on Monday, hoping to advance to the second round of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference tournament. The game will start at 7 p.m. and will be available for free streaming at ncurams.com.
