Timm has Career-High and First-Years Show Spark Against Knights

NEW ULM, Minn. — Crown College Volleyball took on the Martin Luther Knights Thursday night. Breaking the personal best set just last week, senior Madison Timm led the team with fifteen kills. To match her outstanding offensive efforts, she also added fifteen digs on the defensive side. Led by Timm, the Storm were competitive through the match, scoring at least 17 in each set. However, while the Storm stayed within striking distance throughout, their efforts fell short as they were defeated in four sets.

Along with Timm, first-years Chloe Burr and Kaitlin Fischer both had career nights. Fischer, who is quickly becoming the backbone behind the Storm offense, had a career-best 28 assists to lead to team. As for Burr, she had 22 digs, adding to her personal best by a wide margin. Junior Gracie Zieroth also had an impressive night putting up eight kills to go along with ten digs.

The Storm head to Minneapolis Saturday to face the rival North Central Rams in the regular-season finale.
