Northfield, Minn. – The Crown women's basketball team saw their season record even out at 1-1 on Tuesday night after a tough road loss to St. Olaf. The Storm couldn't find a rhythm offensively and lost 84-39.
An experience St. Olaf team jumped out of the gates, averaging 25 points a quarter through three and holding Crown to single digit scoring in three of four quarters. The Oles had five players in double figures on the night.
Crown got 18 points from
McKenzie Latzke, including four three pointers, but were held to just 22.2% shooting on a tough night.
Shauna Thompson had nine for the Storm.
The Crown women return to action this weekend as they travel to Milwaukee for games against Alverno and Mount Mary.
