ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown Men's Basketball blew out the Trinity Bible Lions 90-47 on Friday night behind sophomore
Sawyer Lawhon's 21 points on seven made three-pointers. Senior Timothy Wendel added 16 points and nine rebounds, and senior
Christian Moore added 15 points, eight boards, and five assists.
Crown had 14 players score in the matchup, with
Cole Andersen (six points),
Josh Royston (six points),
Alec Testerman (five points),
Nathan Cantrell (five points),
Torry Ledin (three points),
Jay Smith (three points),
Seth Royston (two points),
Aaron Davis (two points), Nathanial Bliss (two points),
David Jones (two points), and
Caleb Carlson (two points) all joining Lawhon, Wendel, and Moore.Â
Crown's bench outscored the Lions 57-5 and 22-0 in second-chance points helping to lead to the rout of Trinity. Sophomore
Brandon Pratt also added five assists and Crown had 26 assists in the matchup compared to the Lions' four.Â
The Storm don't catch much of a break, facing UW-La Crosse tomorrow, currently ranked 16th in the nation at 3 pm in Wisconsin.
