LA CROSSE, Wis. — Crown Men's Basketball fell to the 16th ranked team in the nation, UW-La Crosse, on Saturday 77-63. Senior forward Tim Wendel scores 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the reigning UMAC Player of the Year kept the Storm in the game. Crown cut the lead to 61-54 late in the contest, but the Eagles scored the next seven points to secure the victory.

Sophomore Seth Royston added eight points on 50% shooting from the field, and Chris Moore scored six on 2/3 from beyond the arc. Underclassmen point guards Alec Testerman and Brandon Pratt both had four points in the contest making every shot they took.

Sophomore Sawyer Lawhon and senior Josh Royston both added three points; Gunnar Ledin, Zach Skorik and Cole Andersen scored two apiece. Skorik led the team with four assists.

Crown looks to rebound from this game on Wednesday as they head to New Ulm for a matchup with the Martin Luther Knights.
