ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. — The Crown volleyball team had a home game against St. Catherine's University Friday. The Storm started off slow but following a short break after the second set came out strong and ready to play in the third. Unfortunately, they lost 0-3 (11-25, 14-25, 19-25) to the Wildcats.
The Storm senior class led the Crown Storm in defense and offense tonight. Sarah Reinke led in kills with seven while Kassy Steinkamp had one block. Madeline Svoboda had seven digs with Reinke right behind her with five; Cortney Gunderson added four digs. Sophomore Talana Rudzitis led in assists with thirteen.
"Despite the frustrations and hardships, the girls stayed united and positive," said Steinkamp. "These girls have really encouraged me personally and I see them as family."
