MILWAUKEE, Wis. --- Crown Volleyball won their second straight game to start the season on Saturday, defeating Alverno College, 3-1 (25-23, 25-27, 26-24, 25-13). Head Coach Brittany Strange continued her perfect winning record, now 2-0 early in her collegiate coaching career.

The Storm were led by Sarah Reinke with ten kills, Talana Rudzitis with 14 assists, Karissa Steinkamp with five blocks, and Madeline Svoboda with 18 digs. Steinkamp also added seven kills, Ellie Clark added 13 assists, and Rudzitis, Gracie Zieroth, and Reinke all reached double-figures digs.

Crown Volleyball now has a brief break, with the Stinger Tournament coming up next weekend in northern Wisconsin. Their home opener is late this season and will happen on September 24.
