CHASKA, Minn. --- Crown Tennis competed in their first home match at Southwest Christian High School on Saturday. They fell to the St. Scholastica Saints 9-0 in both Men's and Women's.
For the women,
Cortney Gunderson took two games in No. 3 singles and
Abby Engrav also took two tames in No. 4 singles. Gunderson was joined by
Lauren Sporleder in No. 1 doubles, and Engrav was joined by
Sierra Allison in No. 2 doubles. Both teams took one game.
For the men,
Caleb Baumann took two games in No. 1 singles.
Romeo Mork took seven games in No. 2 singles,
Andrew Moorse took four games in No. 3 singles, and
Travis Burg took one game in No. 5 singles. Baumann/Mork combined to win four games in No. 1 doubles, and the combination of Jake Sporleder and
Mike Brewster took one game in No. 3 doubles.
The Storm next compete on Thursday as they head to Martin Luther for UMAC matches against the Knights.
