WAVERLY & PELLA, Iowa --- Crown Men's and Women's Tennis headed to Iowa to compete against both Wartburg and Central on Friday and Saturday as Crown opened their institutional spring break. Unfortunately, the teams fell 0-9 in every matchup. 

In the women's matches against Wartburg, Lauren Sporleder won three games, Sierra Allison took two games, and Abby Engrav and Abby Yates both took a single game. Against Central, Sporleder took two games, and Allison and Engrav won a game. In No. 1 doubles, the combination of Sporleder and Allison took a game. 

For the men against Wartburg, Andrew Moorse, Travis Burg, and Jacob Sporleder all took a game, and Joe Duffy took two in the No. 3 spot. Burg and Sporleder also took a game in the No. 2 doubles spot. Against Central, only Duffy took a game. 

The teams next play on March 28 in a UMAC matchup against UM-Morris.
