DULUTH, Minn. --- Crown Men's Basketball team was defeated in their second conference game of the season on Saturday, 120-79 to the St. Scholastica Saints. The Storm drop to 0-2 in UMAC Play after facing two of the top 2018-19 finishers on the road to start the season.
Senior wing
Gunnar Ledin led the team in scoring with 21 points and added four rebounds and an assist. Sophomore guard
Cole Andersen added 14 points in the contest and senior
Tim Wendel added 13. Junior
Christian Moore was the fourth member of the Storm in double figures with 12 points and led the team with seven rebounds. Point guards
Brandon Pratt and
Zach Skorik both added three assists in the game. Pratt also led the team with two steals.
The Storm hope to get back on the right track on Wednesday as Crown hosts the UM-Morris Cougars, a rematch of the UMAC Wild Card Playoff matchup which the Storm defeated the Cougars 78-71 at the Wild Athletic Center last season.
