Archer Has Career-High as Storm Fall to Eagles

ROSEVILLE, Minn. --- Crown Women's Basketball fell to the Northwestern Eagles 77-43. Junior Patricia Gibson led the Storm in both scoring and rebounding, with eight points and eight rebounds. Sophomore Brooke Honeck led the Storm with three assists and junior Rose Crowns led with two steals.

First-year Katie Archer had her career-high with seven points in the contest. Junior Marissa Ruf, first-year Shauna Thompson, and junior Damonyka Roberts all scored six points in the contest. Crowns, Stevey De La Ossa, and Thiery Zachary made up the rest of Crown's points. 

Crown scored an impressive 20 points in the final quarter including a streak of four straight possessions ending with a made field goals. The Storm shot 80% from the charity stripe and 37% from the field. Crown outscored the Eagles 16-13 on second-chance points in the contest. 

The Crown women return home for a game on Saturday afternoon, with an upcoming matchup with the North Central Rams.
