ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown Women's Basketball fell to the North Central Rams on Saturday afternoon 60-33. The Storm held with them at halftime, only down seven, but the Rams pulled away in the second half. The Rams stay hot as they won their third straight, also besting the Northwestern Eagles and St. Scholastica Saints during their run.
Junior forward
Damonyka Roberts led the Storm in points in rebounds, with eight points and five boards in the game. Fellow junior
Patricia Gibson also had five boards. Gibson had Crown's lone block of the game. Junior guard
Stevey De La Ossa led the team with three assists and first-year guard
Shauna Thompson led the Storm with two steals.
The Storm continue their UMAC season with a game at UM-Morris on Wednesday and heading home to face UW-Superior on Saturday.
