SUPERIOR, Wis. --- Junior Timothy Wendel led the Storm with 31 points and 16 rebounds as they bested the UW-Superior Yellowjackets 83-70 in their first game of 2019. The Jackets led the game at halftime 37-35, but the Storm came back in the second half with a huge 48-33 surge. 

Junior Gunnar Ledin had 14 points; his brother Torry Ledin had 12 points off the bench. Junior Kole Jusczak had his second double-digit scoring performance with ten points in the game. 

Crown won despite being outshot 39% to 43% from the field and 22% to 42% from downtown. The Storm had 22 second chance points but the Yellowjackets had none and outscored UW-Superior in the paint 42-24. Crown returns home to match up with Northland College on Saturday.
