NEW ULM, Minn. —— Crown Men's Basketball bested the Martin Luther Knights on Wednesday evening 88-79 as they improved to 5-3 in UMAC play. Junior forward
Timothy Wendel once again had the impact performance with 31 points on 8/14 from the field (3/4 from three) and pulled down twelve rebounds. He was a perfect 12/12 from the free-throw line. The Knights held with the Storm as they started out the game 7/9 from three-point range, but as they cooled off Crown was able to pull ahead.

Gunnar Ledin had 17 points in the contest on 7/13 from the floor and 5/9 from three-point range. Senior
Keegan Oyugi had 13 points on only four field goal attempts and also dished out seven assists in the contest. Junior
Torry Ledin had 11 points and made three of his six three-point attempts.
The difference in the game came at the free throw line with Crown making 23 of 28 attempts and Martin Luther only making 8 of 12 attempts. Oyugi and Wendel scored 21 of the last 22 points for the Storm to put Crown in a position to win the matchup.
The Storm next head for a rare second-half non-conference matchup with Maranatha Baptist in Watertown, Wisconsin on Saturday.
