Guy Has 181 Yards, 3 TDS in Loss to UNW

ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown's football team fell to Northwestern this Homecoming Saturday as they lost 18-38 to the Eagles. Receiver Domonquie Guy had 181 yards and three touchdowns in the game and was a part of every score for the Storm.

After the Eagles went up 10 points in the first half, Guy scored his first touchdown of the game as first-year quarterback Jared Gilmore found him for a 26-yard score. Northwestern answered with a score of their own before Guy once again found the end zone on a pass from Gilmore, this time for 59 yards with over 25 of the yards happening after the catch. UNW scored two more times before Guy found the end zone once again, on another 59-yard TD catch from first-year quarterback Devin Westbrook, who replaced Gilmore when he came out due to injury.

Gilmore led the passing attack with 171 yards and two touchdowns through the air. Sophomore back Derek Chilcoate led the rushing yards with 29 yards on the ground. Guy led the receivers with 181 yards and three scores on six receptions.

On the defensive side, sophomore Jeremiah Jones had eight tackles to lead the Storm defense. First-year Dakotah Wilkinson and senior Tyler Byrd both recorded a sack in the game. Crown's defense forced four fumbles in the game, with Jones, Guy, George Green, and Byrd all knocking the ball loose. First-year Colbe Robertson led the defensive backs with three passes broken up and an interception he returned for 21 yards.

Crown football travels to Iowa Wesleyan next weekend as they continue UMAC play. IWU is coming off a loss to UM-Morris as both teams seek their first win of the season.
