Keegan Oyugi had a career night on Thursday evening at Macalester as he scored a career-high 27 points to lead the Storm over the Scots 97-83. While the game seemed relatively close by the score, Crown trailed for only 15 seconds in the entire matchup.
Junior forward
Gunnar Ledin was also in double figures with 21 points in the match, and junior forward
Timothy Wendel had a great game with 17 points and ten boards as he battled foul trouble. Junior
Kole Jusczak was also great on the boards with ten in the game. Senior guard
Dartrell Moss had nine points in his first start for the Storm, and sophomore
Christian Moore had ten points in his season debut.
Macalester shot over 50% from the field compared to Crown's 43%. However, Crown shot 33% from downtown compared to Macalester's 20%. Crown Men's Basketball next plays on Tuesday at Bethel University.
