ARDEN HILLS, Minn. --- Crown Men's Basketball team traveled to Bethel University on Tuesday evening as they took on the Royals, a team that was near the top of the MIAC in the 2017-18 season. Crown held close for most of the game, only trailing one at halftime and three points with 13 minutes remaining. Unfortunately, from that point on Bethel pulled away, and the Royals ended the game with a 21-point lead over the Storm 100-79.
Junior
Timothy Wendel led the team with 15 points on 4/14 from the field, and also led the team with six rebounds. Senior guard
Keegan Oyugi also was in double figures with 13 points. Oyugi also had two steals and a block.Â
Sophomore
Christian Moore, junior
Gunnar Ledin, and junior
Kole Jusczak all had ten points in the game for the Storm. Jusczak also had six boards. Senior
Logan Strand had nine points with three made three-point attempts, and senior
Dartrell Moss made all three of his field goal attempts and had seven points.
Crown had 25 personal fouls in the game as multiple players struggled with foul trouble. Jusczak fouled out;

Gunnar Ledin, and
Dartrell Moss all ended the game with four fouls. The difference in the game came in the shot percentage, with the Storm allowing a field goal percentage of 56% compared to their own 40% FG percentage. Crown allowed 62 points in the paint and only had 30 points of offense generated in the paint.Â
Crown Men's Basketball next goes to a Southwest Minnesota State in an exhibition game on Saturday, and their next regular season game comes on November 30th with Faith Baptist coming to Crown.Â
