NEW ULM, Minn. --- Crown's volleyball team headed to New Ulm to face the Martin Luther Knights in a conference match on Wednesday night. The game was incredibly close, as Crown fell in five sets; 14-25, 25-17, 21-25, 25-18, and 13-15. Down 2-1, Crown forced the fifth set with a great fourth set and held the lead late in the fifth 13-12. Unfortunately, MLC went on a three-point run to finish off that set 15-13.

Christine Anderson had an incredible match, with 15 kills, five blocks, a .233 hitting percentage, two assists, and two digs. First-year setter
Elizabeth Clark led the team with 31 assists. Junior
Sarah Reinke led the receiving team with 23 digs. First-year
Gracie Zieroth also was in the double digits in both digs and kills with ten kills and 15 digs. Zieroth and junior
Madeline Svoboda both had a team-high three aces in the match.
Crown continues their UMAC schedule on the road, heading to North Central on Saturday.Â
