Duluth, Minn. — Crown's women's basketball team held with the St. Scholastica Saints on Saturday evening, but the Saints pulled away with a 19-6 fourth quarter to win the game 64-47.
Senior Desiree Davis was the high-point woman for the Storm, with 18 points in the game and also led the team in rebounds with seven. Junior Kayla Carter was in double figures for the first time since December 13th when the Storm faced UNW.
Madison Stricklin had eight points in the game, and Damonyka Roberts and Stevey De La Ossa both had five points in the match. Stricklin also added two blocks in the matchup.
Crown drops to 2-5 in UMAC play, and faces Martin Luther at home on Wednesday for their next matchup.
