St. Bonifacius, Minn. — The Crown women faced an uphill battle tonight, confronted with the top team in the UMAC Minnesota-Morris, and while remained competitive in the first half, had the second half get away from them as they fell 44-72.
Freshman
Ava Szczyrbak led the team in scoring with eight points on 60% shooting, despite battling foul trouble. Sophomore
Kayla Carter had her usual seven points and six rebounds, only shooting two official field goals. Freshman
Damonyka Roberts had three steals in the game along with her four points.
Their next game is on Friday away at North Central.
