Senior Andrea Besa had nine points and three steals in the game; Patricia Gibson had nine points as well, on four makes of her five shots and pulled down six rebounds.
Crown wasn't particularly more efficient than the Rams, but forced so many second-chance opportunities, along with their 13 steals gave Crown enough chances to find the win for their first conference win in the past two years.
Crown now goes on break, with a set of conference matches lined up starting early January.
