St. Bonifacius, Minn. — After a huge overtime win last night, Crown couldn't find a win against Northwestern, falling to the Eagles 55-64. Senior Desiree Davis was able to score 19 on eight of thirteen from the field. She also added seven rebounds and three assists in the game.
Junior Kayla Carter was able to secure her first double-double of the season, scoring twelve points and pulling down eleven rebounds. Andrea Besa and Madison Stricklin both had seven points in the match, and Stevey De La Ossa had six points. Besa also had five assists in the game. Patricia Gibson, Besa, and De La Ossa all had three steals in the match.
Crown hopes to recover with a win against North Central on Saturday in Minneapolis.
