Ashland, Wis. — The Crown volleyball team was off in northern Wisconsin taking on conference rival the Northland Lumberjills on Saturday. Crown fell 0-3 to the Lumberjills but scored more than 20 in each set, falling 21-25, 22-25, and 22-25.
Sophomore
Christine Anderson led the Crown offense with eight kills in the game. Junior
Kaitlin Ruiter had six kills, and senior
Alayna Kohler had five in the match. Senior
Kelsey Roschen had twelve assists in the game, with
Michaela Svoboda adding five and
Josie Parker adding four respectively. Defensively Kohler and Svoboda both had 17 digs, with Roschen next on the team with 12.
Crown next plays on Tuesday when Martin Luther comes to the Wild Athletic Center in St. Bonifacius.
