St. Bonifacius, Minn. — The Crown College Storm volleyball team took on a member of the MIAC conference, the St. Kate's Wildcats on Friday evening, and fell to the Wildcats; 11-25, 20-25, 20-25.
Crown remained close in the second and third sets, scoring 20 points in each, but St. Catherine's pulled away when they needed to finish each game. Senior
Alayna Kohler led Crown's offensive production with six kills; Kohler also led the defense with nine digs. Senior
Kelsey Roschen led the team with eleven assists in the game. Sophomore
Christine Anderson also had a solid two-way performance with two aces and two blocks.
Crown next plays tomorrow in Ashland, Wisconsin against UMAC-rival Northland College.
