Duluth, Minn. — The Crown women were on Lake Superior during the weekend facing the University of Wisconsin-Superior and the College of St. Scholastica. They couldn't find a way to win either game, falling to Scholastica 33-64 and Superior 40-74.
Junior
Andrea Besa led the team against Scholastica with four points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Nine rebounds are her season high. Freshman
Damonyka Roberts led the Storm's scoring with six points. Crown spread the ball around with 11 players registering points in the game.
In the second set of games, senior
Molly Greenfield led scoring with nine points all made on three-pointers. She was 3/4 from behind the arc. Besa had another two steals along with eight points and three rebounds. Junior
Miranda Brueggeman had her season high point total, scoring eight points in the game.
Crown plays at home next weekend when Finlandia and Northland come to St. Bonifacius.
