Northfield, Minn. - The Crown volleyball team opened the 2016 season with four games at St. Olaf's tournament, going 0-4 on the weekend. Crown dropped straight-set matches to Martin Luther, Carleton, and hosts St. Olaf, before taking the first set in an eventual 3-1 loss to Bethany Lutheran.
Senior
Katie Hinkle led the Storm with 22 kills and five blocks on the weekend, while freshman
Christine Anderson totaled 15 kills.
Kelsey Roschen settled into the full-time setter role with 85 assists (6.54/set) while
Taylor Urcuyo totaled 59 digs (4.54/set).
Crown will look to get into the win column on Tuesday night when they travel to Hamline.
