Duluth, Minn. – Crown's football team couldn't seem to stop the impressive St. Scholastica team, falling to them 13-49.
Crown fell behind 0-21 in the first half, culminating by a 0-42 St. Scholastica lead at the end of the third quarter.
Crown struggled offensively, throwing four interceptions and losing two fumbles. The bright spot on the offense was senior running back
Josh Edlund (Crookston/Crookston), who had 123 yards and a touchdown on the ground, averaging terrific 5.5 yards a carry.
Crown continues their season with a home game on Saturday, October 1st, against Westminster, 12 pm.
