James Brown finished climbing the Crown all-time scoring ladder on Friday, passing
Truman Shetler to become the all-time leading scorer in Crown's basketball history with 1,138 points. He did so scoring 19 points in the game, going 6-13 from the field, 4-6 from three.
Despite Brown's 19 points, Crown still fell to Valley City State 58-85. Junior
Austin VanDerHeyden, who is currently fifth on the all-time scoring list, had 13 points and eight rebounds.
Crown plays their next game away at Northland on December 2nd. Their next home game is December 9th against Martin Luther at the Wild Athletic Center.
