St. Bonifacius, Minn. - Crown College welcomed the UMAC leading Wisconsin Superior Yellowjackets to town. The Yellowjackets, who won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title last year, took control of the game in the second quarter and pulled away in the third holding Crown to two 3rd quarter points to cruise to a 90-41 victory.
The Yellowjackets shot 64% to Crown's 36% and dominated the glass outrebounding the Storm 45-36. Four players reached double figures for Superior as they dominated after Crown gave the Jackets a solid first quarter.
Crown was led by freshman
Kayla Carter with 8 points.
Desiree Davis was held to four points but led the team in rebounds and assists with six a piece.
Crown's next games will be at home next weekend against Northland and Finlandia.
