St. Bonifacius, Minn. - Crown College welcomed St. Scholastica to town after a good Christmas break and a win over Cal Tech this past Tuesday.  Crown has played some very good basketball of late, and Crown was looking for a good win over the Saints.  The Saints had other ideas though as they capitalized on a poor second quarter for the Storm and preserved their lead for a 62-50 Crown defeat.

Crown shot only 32.8% from the field for the game and a dismal 47.4% from the free throw line, well below their season average.  Crown also turned the ball over 23 times leading to 20 points for the Saints.  Crown did force 19 turnovers of the Saints on a positive note.

Desiree Davis led the team with 13 points and 8 rebounds in a balanced scoring effort for the Storm.

Crown's next game will be Sunday afternoon at home versus Wisconsin Superior.
