Mankato, Minn. - After a strong start to the first quarter which saw Crown build a 17-13 lead, Crown found themselves outscored 23-12 in the second quarter leading to a halftime deficit of 36-29. Crown stayed steady in the third quarter only down 50-41 but was unable to get any closer. The Vikings put Crown away in the fourth quarter for a 68-51 win.
Crown shot 33.3% for the game while Bethany shot 31.3%. However, Crown gave up 24 offensive rebounds leading to 21 second chance points for the Vikings. Crown also had 20 turnovers leading to 18 points for the Vikings.
Crown was led by
Desiree Davis who put up 21 points and six rebounds while
Jessica Klaustermeier poured in 11 points of her own.
Crown's next game will be next weekend against Morris on Saturday, January 23rd at home.
