New Ulm, Minn. - Coming off of a solid win against Finlandia, Crown College was seeking to capitalize on the momentum and pick up another victory over Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. Unfortunately, Crown would find themselves in foul trouble early in often as the Knights would shoot 46 free throws in this game as they cruised to a 77-50 victory over the Storm.
In all, Crown was whistled for 35 fouls as
Jessica Klaustermeier,
Desiree Davis, and
Claire Culbertson would all foul out and
Madison Stricklin and
Miranda Brueggeman both had four. Not helping the situation was Crown's poor shooting for the game as they finished the game shooting 25% from the floor.
Klaustermeier led the Storm with 14 points before fouling out. Davis and Stricklin led the team with six rebounds a piece.
The Storm's next contest will be at Bethany Lutheran College on Saturday, January 16th.
